WESTERN ENCEPHALITIS MOSQUITO

BEHAVIOUR
The female of these types of mosquitoes eat blood. The male mosquitoes eat manly nectar. The average mosquito will grow from egg to adult within 9 to 14 days. They eat and explore mainly in the morning and at night. They are known to fly over 15 miles in search of a blood meal.

PLACES THEY LIVE
Mosquitoes breed in mostly places of still water, such as ponds, lakes, drains and swimming pools.

SAFETY
